Amage auricula is een borstelworm uit de familie Ampharetidae. Het lichaam van de worm bestaat uit een kop, een cilindrisch, gesegmenteerd lichaam en een staartstukje. De kop bestaat uit een prostomium (gedeelte voor de mondopening) en een peristomium (gedeelte rond de mond) en draagt gepaarde aanhangsels ( palpen, antennen en cirri ).Amage auricula - Artsdatabanken
WEBAmage auricula can be up to 12 mm long. It has a characteristic body shape which resembles a maggot. It is ubiquitous in Norwegian waters at depths between about 100 to more than 1000 meters.
