De zonnester of gestekelde zonnester (Crossaster papposus) is een zeester uit de familie Solasteridae. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd in 1767 gepubliceerd door Carl Linnaeus. Het wordt gevonden in de noordelijke delen van zowel de Atlantische als de Grote Oceaan.
