Unlike many other nonattached burrowing anemones Peachia cylindrica is rather robust species and may reach 30 cm long and 2.5cm diameter. Typically, only a disc with 12 characteristically coloured tentacles is visible on surface, while the whole body is buried deeply into the substratum.
