    Lactophrys triqueter also known as the smooth trunkfish, is a species of boxfish found on and near reefs in the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico and subtropical parts of the western Atlantic Ocean. The names Lactophrys triqueter and Rhinesomus triqueter are synonymous.
